@jezmck: The rebuild images task only rebuilds images that are marked "dirty" in some fashion (ie, Gallery thinks that rebuilding them again will have a different result. I guess in your case, I'm curious why you think that running the same program on the same input file would have a different result? Perhaps we should add a way to let you forcibly rebuild certain images?
@welchyboy: Unfortnuately I can't see the problem anymore (sorry, it took me a while to get back to you on this). Is it possible that something on your site is injecting extra html into the page? That would account for what you were seeing...
Just trying to add photos with the "server add" option. Works fine, but if I select a number of photos/flv to add in one go (~38) it seems to be multiplying them up as it adds them. The 'processing' bar never finishes and my browsers comes up with the 'script stopped responding' error. When I cancel and go to the album page there are about twice (sometimes many more times) as many items as photos I tried to add.
When I open my Gallery3, all the text is blurry. All other text on my monitor shows up fine, just the Gallery's text is weird. I am attaching a screenshot.
When rearranging items in an album, the album page views update correctly. However if you click through the album image-by-image, the previous/next links use the original album order.
Also, I'm having some trouble finding a lot of the options for albums -- default sort order, for example?
Additionally, the Gallery page titles need some work -- Browse Photos photo, Brows Photos album? I would think you'd want the title for an album to be the name of the album, and the title for a page displaying an image to be the image name.

@kohenkatz, looks like you've accidentally zoomed the page, try holding Ctrl and tapping the 0 on your numpad.

@Jonreynolds: we've made some performance improvements to the server add module, try the latest code and see if that makes it better for you.
@kohenkatz. If jezmck's suggestion doesn't fix it, I have no idea. I'm using Chrome on Vista too and it looks fine for me...
@LoneShepherd: good catch! http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/gallery/ticket/340 filed. The "default" sort order is the order in which the photos were added to the album (ie: the creation date). We should spell that out more clearly: http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/gallery/ticket/341 filed. And I agree that the page titles suck. http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/gallery/ticket/342 filed. I'll try to fix #340 for beta 1, but the rest have to wait until beta 2.
