New module to reset the item count to zero on albums and sub albums. Also the ability to change the item count on individual items. http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:Modules:reset_counts _____________________________________________

heh, I was just looking at my most viewed picture and it really bugged me that it is a very poor image. Really just nothing.

Thanks floridave, this saves having to risk delving into the database.
I've also installed your related module "Stop owner counts" and both are working fine.
