What are the alternatives to the sales tax issue?

I know that there are no modules available to accommodate sales tax on purchases but I would like to hear what other people are doing to charge sales tax using Gallery. Thanks, |

I found that solution through the Checkout Paypal module. In your Paypal account under the Merchant section, there is a link that allows you to designate sales tax for purchasers from different states. If you are only collecting sales tax from the state you live in, this is a great solution, as Paypal automatically detects where your payer is buying from based on their account/shipping information, and charges tax only to those customers. I breathed a sigh of relief when I figured this one out. I imagine that Google Checkout does something similar, but haven't waded those waters yet.
