I'm getting ready to do a big overhaul of my website. I got phpMyAdmin set up last night and am wanting to now install movabletype and gallery. I was looking through the gallery requirements and it mentions imagemagick and netpbm. How do I determine if my host already has one of them (my guess is that it's not included)? I use 1and1.com's basic service, by the way.

RockofVictory,

My advice to you is to go ahead and install the NetPBM binaries from the Gallery Download page, this I find is the easiest solution, it saves so much hassle in the long run.

Simply upload the binaries to your web server space & provide the path to access the files in the Gallery Config Wizard.

Don't forget to chmod all NetPBM binaries & the \netpbm directory istself to 755, this should do it.
