SEO: <TITLE> Tags for Gallery While Embedded in phpBB?

Has anyone hacked Gallery (embedded in phpBB) to use better titles for search engine optimization (SEO)? I would like Gallery to display the Album titles on the album pages, and the image captions on the images pages. Has anyone done this?
