Recursive modified date on albums

In order to make it easier for people to navigate my albums and see which pictures have been updated, it would be nice to have the parent album's modified date be updated when one of it's child albums has changed. Is this easy to implement?

Doesn't appear so and it's not likely to ever happen. 4 years on =)
