Gallery seems to be inside Mambo....

I have Gallery v1.4.4-pl4 embedded in Mambo 4.5.1a. Everything was working fine, created albums, uploaded pictures, changed settings, etc. Then, when try to "add photos", this message appeared in the popup window: "Gallery seems to be inside Mambo, but we couldn't get the necessary info." Some admin functions work, others just come up with this message. What does this error message refer to? Thanks! |

Hi,
I have the same issue, in my case only with the Firefox Browser (1.0).
With IE all admin functions are working.

Yeah, I thought it might be browser or PC-related. It happened a couple days ago, with Firefox 1.0. I restarted Firefox and it was fine. This time, restart doesn't change anything, so I tried it in IE (6) and same message.
Also, I tried to go to Gallery direct. It let me log in and I got through "add photos" to the choosing a zip file and the animated upload image (like it was uploading), but then, a new message:
"You are no allowed to perform this action!" in a second popup window.
I'm gonna try rebooting my PC. I'd really like to know what this overall behavior could mean, like, is it some sort of local or session setting or something like that (I cleared cookies and cache in Firefox)...?!

Well, rebooting didn't work.
Further investigation: I went through most of the functions, and some work, some don't. Editing captions, reordering photos, creating and deleting a nested album all work fine. But not "add photos" or "permissions" or "properties".
What does "can't get the necessary info" mean? Sounds like maybe there's a problem with file permissions or paths, between Mambo and Gallery?
