Your host has disabled exec() calls, which Gallery uses to call the image tookits, in order to be able to create thumbnails and such. Only your host can turn that off, so you will need to contact them. With that limitation in place, you will be unable to use Gallery.

ok, I sent my host an email issluionfxnet.com hopefully they will reinable it. *crosses fingers* but anyway, I have my back up in the ftp under fantastico backup and what not
if I download that zip file It shows everythign I had in my gallery prior to deletion. My question is, how would I be able to reinstate all of those settings/ pictures/comments/views -hits on each picture..... wiht just a few click or minimal knowledge on this subject?

You mean transfer to another host? Just follow FAQ Gallery:d.1 if thats the case.

Your host disabling exec() shouldn't corrupt your existing install, it will only make you unable to upload new pictures.

As long as your albums directory is intact, you Gallery will still be able to use it as it was.

Well, they have disabled it for some reason, you will have to ask them.
