Center photo in middle of screen vertically (G1.5 + Mambo)

I have integrated Gallery 1.5 (latest) with Mambo 4.5.2 and am running into a bit of a layout problem. I have a larger header photo as part of my layout scheme for Mambo, so every time I change to a new photo in my gallery, I have to scroll down to view it. Is there a way to get have the photo centered on the screen vertically when I change to it (I'm using micro navigation)?
