how can I change the background color?

Hi

I tried to change the background color (gallery 2) in the "theme.css file". I changed the colornumbers. But the background doesn't changed the color.

What exactly I've to do?

What exactly did you change ;) And what theme are you using?

Be sure to clear you local cache or force a "hard refresh". In Firefox use Ctrl+Shift+R

Try a different browser.

Assuming you're using Matrix, scroll down the the part of theme.css that starts with 

/* ********************************************************************************
 * Matrix Theme for Gallery 2
 * by Ross A. Reyman, Jon Huang, and Chad Kieffer

 */

and edit these classes

#gallery {
    font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 62.5%;
    color: #333;
    background-color: #fff;
}
body.gallery {
    background-color: #fff;
}

.gcBackground1 {
    background-color: #eee;
}

.gcBackground2 {
    background-color: #e7e7e7;

Can you please explain me how to change Background color of picture page with Hybrid theme. Default is lihgt gray , I try to change to black or very dark gray.
Is posible to add a border around photos in that page?

I could change the background, but don't know how to change now the TEXT (the foreground). Any ideas? What about adding new tab pages? I wish I could do this...
