Hi,

I have problems trying to open the zip files attached to the G2 Customation Forum! Winzip (trial) Version tells me that the archive is not a valid zip file, ALWAYS, but only from the attachments, other zip files are working just fine, other downloads also,...
What do I see is that the size downloaded never match the size written next to the download,...
so what could be wrong with me? ;)
Help would really apreciated!!! There are some really interesting mods attached! And I might use one or another from this mods,...
Thanks
bernie

We are aware of that issue, and we are currently looking into the cause of it. In the mean time, try to download the files with some other browser than Internet Explorer. As far as we know, thats the only browser that has this problem.

I'm have a similar problem, but with the downloaded images.

I've been downloading user's albums as a zip file, and save them into a folder on my system. All are tif files. The thumbnail previews show up with Windows explorer, but when I open it in photoshop I get an error message saying "Could not complete your request because its not the right kind of document." I can open each image in the Windows built-in image viewer, and then save it from there into a new folder with the same filename and the tif extension, and then photoshop has no trouble. But I can't open files I've downloaded. I can download a TIFF file directly from G2 and it opens fine. So something is fiddling with the TIF files and adding a Unix path to them when they are archived, maybe?

G2 v2.02
Mac OS X 10.2
Using Mozilla 1.7.12

Bharat fixed this issue as it relates to the menalto site a couple days ago. See the report thread I made here: http://gallery.menalto.com/node/41422 he explains what it was, and a bit of what he did.
