Modifying G2 with PG theme

I want to create a site for some photographers based on G2 and PG theme with some modifications. This is the rough plan:

Basic structure of online photo cooperative for photographers:
(Based on Gallery 2 and PG theme)

1. A simple homepage with basic information of the website with 1 or 2 random latest photos

2. Membership:
A. All photographer members are selected through internal process. Thus, only a static page with some description of the procedures and email link is needed for the purpose.
B. Cart module for clients to order and download hi-rex photos

3. A simple and direct top menu with these items : Latest Work; Feature; Photographers; Search; Assignments; Order; Sign In; About Us; Contact;

4. An information page is needed in front of each album to provide information of each photographer and feature stories.
