download setup/index.php file

Greetings
In the process of trying gallery 1.3.3 just downloaded and installed (tar xvf)
I ran sh configure.sh
clicked on login.php which gave the screen for the configuration wizard
click the link and it wants to download the index.php file ???
login.php file works but setup/index.php file wants to download ?? what is my problem
Please???

I have apache 2 PHP 4.3 and Linux Redhat 8.0
