Hi!
I am new here, I downloaded gallery, and ftp-ed all the files in "gallery" dir to my Nuke site modules (including the gallery folder itself).
After that, as instructed, I made two empty files, name them config.php and .htaccess, ftp-ed them to gallery dir, chmod them accordingly (including setup dir) and run this url:

http://williamkusumo.ionichost.com/html/modules/gallery/setup/

and this is what I got...

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: exec() in /users/ionichost.com/williamkusumo/html/modules/gallery/platform/fs_unix.php on line 32

This is a fresh installed gallery, haven't done anything to it but now I am pulling my hair trying to figure this out...please help =(

Thanks!
William

Your host has modified PHP to exclude certain functions for security reasons. Gallery won't run in this environment.

So you mean I should change my host provider or inform them about this see if they would change it?
Is there any other way?

Thanks for the quick answer,
William

You actually have 2 options:
1) Run PHP as a CGI (however, this is a pretty complex process with a limited success rate)...
2) Change ISPs or ask you host to put the exec() function back in.
