Accented characters

I have a problem with joomla-1.0.4 and gallery 2.0.1 on linux server: in all site accented characters (ù,à,ò,è,ì) are substituited by "�" when I publish gallery2 image module, and also I have even a problem with gigcalendar modules in SQL query:

Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/specialcartuningclub/modules/mod_gigcal_minical.php on line 42

but if I move gigcalnder module before gallery image module, gigcalndarmodule works fine but the accented characters problem remains.

we can't help you with your joomla modules and their mysql issues.

@accented characters:
change the joomla character set to utf-8.

much discussed. you'll find topics about it in the integration forum. moving your topic there.
