Gallery 1.5/Mambo weird characters in album text

I have Gallery 1.5 embedded in Mambo 4.5.2, at the top of the gallery where the Name/Album shows up, I have these characters that appear (shaded area):
I've search the code and can't seem to figure out why or where they insert themselves. Gallery Link: |
