making a certain album invisible on front page

I'm using gallery 2 and my link is located at http://www.fallingsilent.com/pics I want to have it so that a certain album, in this case, la car show, does not show up on the front page, i want it to be removed from that page, yet i want to be still able to send people a link to http://www.fallingsilent.com/pics/v/carshow/ and still have them be able to access the album without registering. how would i do this? thanks! |

G2 does not have the "hidden" feature yet. I belive that mindless is working on this for the next release.

yup, just went into BRANCH_API_DEV CVS yesterday.. look for it in CVS HEAD and nightly snapshots in a few days.

I would love to do the same.
As this question has not been answered since 2006, I just hope there could be a module allowing albums to be invisible except if you have the URL...without the need for the user to login.
anyone knows the answer ?

Modules:hidden doesn't cover my needs.
I have an album that should not show up on the front page but the elements within it should be found by the tags cloud or the search function.
If I hide the album the tags show up in the tags cloud but clicking them returns an empty page.
Any ideas?

I don't think that's possible without hacking at core code for the hidden items plugin or even at the core code.
