I seem to have a problem uploading multiple files on my gallery. Everything else seems to be working aside from a few page errors that are probably mentioned by now. Gallery version = 2.1-rc-1a core 1.0.28 I'm trying to make an album from a directory in my server /gallery/g2data/temp/sketches the contents are 71 images. As I follow the instructions to import the entire directory create album Internal Server Error edit: this error is the Internal Server Error, also in addition to the error a 404 was recieved I can go back to the main gallery screen and some of the files will have been converted and entered, while some of them aren't This happens every time I try to add multiple files It gets through quite a number of them and stops. I managed to add several directories of files at once, but this one is the only one it seems to have problems with. The album generated does not contain all 71 files, and in several attempts has gotten anywhwere from 13-25 files of the 71. This is bizzarre because I was able to load 40-50 images in 5 other directories just fine without missing one, and this directory seems to have problems. The problems don't seem to be related to specific files either, it just decides not to import a list I give it. |

topic moved to support forums.
can't reproduce it.
just added over 200 files from local server at once.
note that using folders in g2data/ as your own tmp dirs is not a good idea since g2data/ is managed by g2. you should do anything in this folder structure.
use a folder outside g2data as your ftp upload dir or so.

gotta correct myself. i could successfully add about 130 items with add item from server.
when trying to add 200 at once, i got an internal server error.
suggestion: try smaller batches.

This error occurs occasionally after clicking "back to album" from the edit screen after creating a new album.
also, I received the same internal server error problem when deleting an album with 66 images in it.
I have attempted to use the local add a batch of 23 files, internal server error occured.
15 images in the album loaded, not the first 15 in the list.

occured when attempting to local add a batch of 10 files
in this instance, all 10 images seemed to be added ok
attempted to add the entire directory via the URL option
500 internal server error occured
in addition, when trying to access the gallery that appears after this attempt to create the gallery,

there is now an inaccessable album in my gallery and I am unable to access it to delete it

see the g2.1 topic.
i have identifier the problem, it's the exif module. disable it.

how to I get rid of the corrupted album now?

even though i received a couple of code 500 errors in my tests, i could always use the g2 GUI to delete the albums.
if you have problems, you might have to clean the database and g2data/ manually, could take some time.

well I just tested it again, got up to 52 images imported before 500 server error came up.
I'll be switching to 2.0.x now, and if that doesn't work, have to look for other options. Thanks for the help tho

did you disable the exif module before retrying?
maybe in your case another module is also involved.

yes, I disabled the exif module, it got up to 52 images before crapping out. I tried the minimal install of 2.0.x and it had the same problems as well on the first attempt. I removed both installs and went back to coppermine.

I'm sufferring with the exact same problem, and I've disabled the exif module to no avail
Has anyone sorted this yet???
