Hey everybody,

I've read on another post that people are trying to sell prints online. I am too. But I'd also like to try selling greeting cards and some of the small gift shops around my area. Does anybody do that? If so, do you print them out yourself or outsource that part to a third party? How much do you charge?

I've checked out Photographer's Edge, which sells premade cards with slots for your pictures. I know somebody who uses them and I have to say, although the result is all right for personal use, it really doesn't look all that professional. Kind of cheesy, actually. (Hope I'm not insulting anyone.) I would like to make the kind you find in stores, where the picture is part of the card.

Any ideas on software and appropriate paper...?

Thanks a lot for helping out with this.

Never mind. I just discovered that Shutterfly provides the exact kind of cards I was looking for.

FYI, for others, since gimmy has already discovered it by now, you cannot use Gallery to upload to use Shutterfly's 'note cards'. You have to upload it separately to thier site.

There is a cool place that sends your greeting messages out with quite a strange selection of gifts, check out the nasty page, I was kinda surprised that you could do this - http://www.youarea.co.uk
