Gallery 1.5.4 Slideshow does not work

Gallery version: 1.5.4
Apache version: Apache/2.0.54 (Debian GNU/Linux) PHP/4.3.10-16
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): PHP 4.3.10-16
Joomla: Joomla! 1.0.10 Stable [ Sundown ] 26 June 2006 00:00 UTC

I'm using the Gallery 1.5.4 as an component within Joomla! 1.0.10 Stable. Since I've upgraded from 1.5.3 the slideshow function doesn't work anymore. It shows the first pic and after that it jumps back to the mainpage.
Is this a known bug? What can I do?

Hello,

i just made a test with Joomal 1.0.10 and Gallery 1.5.3.
This appears there also. As the slideshow code was not modified and works in standalone it maybe something with Joomla.

I will investigate.

Maybe not with Joomla 1.0.10

You can test my installation if you want :)

I can report that the slideshow works fine for me (modern & limited modes) in gallery 1.5.4 standalone. (I didn't bother to test the fullscreen applet.)

Yes it only behaves like that with Joomla 1.0.10 :)
@ Jens: Have you found any kind of workaround or "bugfixing" for this problem?

I was 2 weeks in vacation.

I will upgrade my joomla to 1.0.11 and then i try to find a fix.
