It seems that all gallery2 users are so busy and happy enjoying gallery2 that they forget to vote or review gallery2 at hotscripts.com. I normally search quiet often hotscripts.com as a first choice when looking for any kind of scripts of software and I also pay attention to how many votes and what ratings a SW has. Yesterday I was amazed to see how few people from the many users of gallery2 actually took the time to vote for this fine masterpiece of gallery-software. Only 16 hotscript-member reviews so far plus 163 visitor votes. Hence my very personal plea - take a few minutes and post your personal review about your experiences and cast your vote - you find the direct link to gallery2 software at hotscripts.com. Here the current reviews at hotscripts.com for gallery2 can be found Even the developper team could update the official info from gallery to gallery2 ... last update was on Sun Nov 28 2004 - that's a long time ago and many new features and improvements have been added. hans |

Thanks for the call for reviews and votes.
I'll forward the request for an update of the description.
As to the votes / reviews:
I'm not too worried about the lack of them on hotscripts. Such sites are very useful if you have to promote a yet unknown / unpopular application / script. But most people today search via google and other search engines. Or via referral. That works for us pretty well.
Not to say that I wouldn't like to see G2 as the nr 1 photo gallery solution on all of those hotscript a like websites.

Voted for it and gave it a nice review
I would guess that part of the reason for the lack of popularity and reviews is that this listing is difficult to find through Hotscript's search. If you try "Gallery2", you get a CMS and a portal. If you try "Gallery", you get more of the same along with PHP PhotoPost Pro and other "featured" listings...

Oh kewl OM I see SMF+G2 Integration Project is now Beta2 kewl beans.
Yea it with hotscripts it seems softwares that aren't Premium Listing enhanced get pushed to the back of the bus, unless you really know what you are looking for. (Kind of a bummer)
