Joomla Configuration

I have added G2 to my Joomla site, but when I go to the Joomla / Admin / Configuration, the third block down ask for the path to Joomla. When I loaded the integration bridge, it automactically filed in the text file with /cms/. This the correct file, but the instructions specifically indicate that there should not be a trailing slash (should be /cms). I can't click into the field to remove the slash. It is that important to remove? If so, how can I remove it since I can edit the field? Thanks. Rick
