just want to be sure that "email me when: comments are added / other changes are made" means an email will be sent if a photo is added to that album. |

ya know, i gotta agree with you. it would seem to be easier for someone who has installed the gallery script to say 'yes, that's true' or 'no, it's not'. unfortunately, i do not have it installed.

That is the case - the user gets an E-mail when things change in the album they chose.
