Hi,
I'm getting an error I couldn't solve yet.
Gallery 2.2 as standalone seems to work. But the integration into drupal 4.7 using the gallery-module gives me errors like this on every page. I'm using xampp 1.5.5 (Apache with PHP 5.2) on windows xp.
Deleting the files in templates_c doesn't do it; they're created once again...any ideas?

I have not seen this issue on any Drupal gallery before. Maybe clearing the G2 cache (http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:FAQ#How_can_I_clear_cached_data.3F) may help (does it do more than just delete the files as you have already done?), although it does not explain why it is only an embedded problem.

Hiya,
clearing the cache of drupal and G2 was tried and didn't change a bit. It seems that the generated smarty compiled file-names are not accepted by windows so deleting the old ones don't work.
But funny - if this function is used by the stand-alone version (which I don't know for sure) then it does work - as long as not calling the embedded Drupal-version of gallery.
I overwrote the gallery module to ensure that there are no missing files - but no change. I don't dare overwriting the gallery-installation as I have imported tons of stuff from G1 and I don't want to loose this work.
I think I will try to upload the stuff to my unix-server. There it should at least work using rename...
Yup, I know - encountering an error never reported by anyone before is strange and could mean that
a) I'm a genious and did something never done before
b) I did something really silly
But WHAT did I do which I can't remember??
