Hi,
I am building my own website for my photography business. I tried the greypop theme which very nicely displays the pictures in the a lightbox. However, I feel this option is quite limited, as it can only display pictures with metadata included.

After searching on google I found a nice modification of Thickbox called Litbox. The ulitmate option for me would be to have Litbox together with Zoomifyer EZ implemented into my gallery, so when a client clicks on the picture a window pops up and displays the picture inside the Zoomifyer. Would this be possible to do?

I am uploading my pictures with the iPhoto plugin, and would like to do as little editing as possible after the pictures have been uploaded. I think this mod would be a killer and would love to see someone developing it (I have started myself, but I'm not an experienced programmer..)

Cheers,
Erik

The Brain Maps API is a lightweight multiresolution image viewer that lets you view Zoomify images. It has been designed to be small and fast, and to consume very little memory, yet still be very functional and extensible. Future versions will enable you to add overlays to multiresolution images (including markers and polylines) and to display clickable labels. The Brain Maps API is a free service, available for any web site that is free to consumers. Available at http://brainmaps.org/index.php?p=brain-maps-api

Hi all,
I'm working on something that can be a good solution for you. It is similar to zoomify, but instead is complitely opensource and doesn't generate small files of the image. The software used is called IIPImage (iipimage.sf.net) and the module I'm developing is based on the zoomify one and on panorama. more info here: http://gallery.menalto.com/node/80713
Once the module will be finished I will try to add an option to use it in a thickbox, but not sure about the javascript compatibility...
