The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful): www.aaltenvoogd.com/gallery.htm
Gallery version: 1.5.3
Apache version: Not sure, can't get to config wizard to find out, but I think it's 1.3.33
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): Ditto, but I think it's 4.4.2
Graphics Toolkit: NetPBM
Operating system: Web server: Linux/Unix, My laptop: XP
Web browser/version (if applicable): IE7

Hi,

I'm no longer able to login to my own site but am using the correct credentials and don't get an error (invalid username/password), instead I'm just returned to the gallery but remain "un-logged-in". I haven't changed anything recently, so am at a loss to explain. Sorry to be vague on the above info, but I don't know how to find out without the config wizard. Would be really grateful for some help on this!

Many thanks in advance,

Stefan

Hi,

I'm still stuck :( unable to log into my own site and would be really grateful for a bit of help! Hope someone can at least point me in the right direction, and sorry I can't be more precise on the information required (Apache & PHP versions) but I don't know how to find this out with logging into my gallery (which is my problem exactly...)

Just to clarify, I don't get an error when I use the correct credentials, but if I try to login with incorrect credentials I do get an error. Any ideas at all what's going on?

Many thanks in advance!

Stefan

That's what's happening to me and I am looking in here to see if I can figure out what to do.

All you need to do is delete your cookies and then the login will work again.

Already tried that (and again, just in case!), clearing out temporary files, cookies, the lot, but it makes no difference at all. At first it was just a bit annoying but now I'm getting pretty desperate as I've got lots of updates to take care of, so would be really grateful if someone could help me and look into this (please?)

yep. i still have the same problm. login isn't working. i remain as guest. no error message.
eat'in up cookies isn't the solution.
and, furthermore, once if i are logged-in, i can't delete pics.
webbrowser shows some kind of timeout error message. lost connection or smthing alike...
huh?
