Random Block in PN .764 ground the site to a halt

actually on two separate sites. both had been relatively stable for years, and then randomly, began to slow, slow, slow, until they were 90% unresponsive... I spent weeks trying to figure out what was going on.. still am not 100% certain, all that I do know is that the instant I disabled the random image block- they were back fully functional again. I upgraded to 1.5.6 on both- same issue still remains. has anyone heard of similar? are their any ways to correct this? |
