Motive nachinstallieren schlägt fehl

Hallo,

ich wollte mit Hilfe der Site-Administration -> Plugins -> Weiter Gallery Module das in G2 2.2.1 installiert Carbon Motiv 1.1.1 auf die neueste Version 1.2.3.1 bringen. Dazu habe ich dann "aktualisieren" angeklickt, das Release 1.2.3.1 ausgewählt, und Aktualisierung gestartet. Dann erhalte ich die Meldung "Hochladen beendet" und "Fortsetzen ...".

Danach ist das Motiv aber immer noch auf 1.1.1. Die Verzeichnisses themes und modules sind alle auf 777 gesetzt.

Was läuft hier schief, warum wird das neue Modul nicht installiert?
Welche Voraussetzungen sind noch notwendig?

Leider habe ich keinen direkten, sofortigen Zugriff auf das Apache-Log, daher kann ich Fehler auf dem Server nur schlecht herausfinden. (Installation liegt bei domainfactory).

Hat jemand eine Idee wo das Problem liegen könnte?

hab's gerade getestet und hatte keine probleme.

themes/carbon/ und alle dateien / order darin müssen auch schreibbar sein (berechtigung 777). aber wenn dem nicht so wäre, hätte g2 eine meldung angezeigt.

ja, 777 ist rekursiv auf alle Dateien und Ordner.

Leider zeigt g2 keine Fehlermeldung, das ist ja auch gerade das, was mich irritiert.

Die Dateien im carbon Verzeichnis sind auch alle unberührt:
