This is an add-on for the existing project pix2gallery2 (an upload app written in C#), which will automatically upload photos and captions from Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.

Hmmmm. Perhaps you have the address formatted incorrectly?

I use:

I tested another gallery of mine on another domain and it works. However, for my site: http://www.ww2incolor.com/newgallery/ it DOES NOT work. I am confident I am using the correct login info. Do you have any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks.

I cant think of any specific issues that might be causing that - but I only coded the photoshop elements component of Pix2Gallery - the other guy wrote the component that connects to Gallery2.

But this sounds like it might be more of a generic "gallery2 isnt accepting connections from client applications" kind of issue then a pix2gallery2 issue. I dont really know enough about how client applications connect to Gallery2 to offer much more advice.

Sorry I cant be more help.

No problem fweee, thanks for helping. Do you think i need to enable some plugins like you do if you use gallery2 remote? I am stumped..no idea why it works on my other sites, but not this one.

I agree, it does sound like a generic login issue and not pix2gallery2 related.

Well, I think it uses the same web API features that gallery2 remote uses, so yes, anything you need to enable for gallery2 remote you would need to enable for pix2gallery2.

Hi Fweee,
I just added (manually) the files needed for Gallery Remote to run (upload and remote modules) because they were missing from my original installation for some reason. Nonetheless, I did this and now IT WORKS. Thanks for sticking with me. I hope this thread helps others that may have this problem. Thanks and I can't wait to use pix2gallery2 (I use elements 5.0).

Well i know about pix2gallery2 since long and i believe it is a good software for handling Adobe photoshop files. I guess you might be having some driver conflict on the systems.
