I am getting this error message in my gallery when i try to click on an individual photo.

PLEASE HELP

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '&' in /home/holliday/public_html/Gallery/view_photo.php on line 297

It seems you have a modified view_photo.php file.

Just reupload it.

You upload it like you uploaded it the first time.

I cant tell you where to get the file as you didnt tell us which Gallery Version (no, not just 1) you use.

Thanks for the reply. I am pretty stupid when it comes to this stuff and I shouldn't have tried to mess with my php file. I tried to upload just the view_photo.php from the download and now I am getting the same message different line. I'm sorry that I don't understand enough to see what is wrong in the file.

Are you sure you really copied the original over the existing?
Sometimes FTP tools try to merge them.

First, delete the file on your server. then reupload the file.
If you still get the error message, please copy the errormessage here and tell me the URL to your Gallery.

can you get to it with www.hollidayeagle.com and click on the eagles in action photo galler in the middle of the page?

I don't know why you can't open it. Man....did i screw up....

Hmm, now its working. Seems to be a temporary network issue.

The 'view_photo.php' file you uploaded is not from the 1.5-RC2 package.
Did you maybe download 1.5.2 ? thats not your version.

i downloaded the galler 1.5.6. the link that you first sent was something that had .tar.gz on the end.

is that what i needed - i couldn't get the file (gallery-1.5-RC2.tar.gz) to work

How on earth can i know that you upload a different version of the file?
If you cant handle .tar.gz (winrar for example can) then just ask.
