Migrating from one Gallery to another one

Hello, I have a Gallery 2 with three major albums. Due to the fast growth of these albums I would like to completely separate them into three new independent galleries. How is that possible? How can I export each of these albums and then import in a new gallery (keeping all the files, subalbums, comments and descriptions I wrote)? Thanks in advance for your help Jonas Livet |

There isn't a good export/import tool for parts of galleries.. your best bet here is to make a complete backup (database, g2data dir, config.php, and .htaccess if you have one). Then make 2 new copies of your whole gallery (create new dbs, import data, copy g2data to other locations, copy codebase and put config.php/.htaccess in place, then edit config.php to point to the new database and g2data locations). Once you have 3 identical galleries working, delete 2 of the main albums from each...
