Hi,

I'm using the default Kubrick theme on 2.3 and have managed to successfully integrate Gallery2 and WPG2.

I have one major outstanding problem that is driving me nuts -

On this page the output just obliterates my header, giving me two rather fetching, but unwanted, pink boxes.

I know it's something simple, but it is escaping my feeble efforts.

I have two other minor issues - I can't seem to find out how to allow registered users to post their own images and the width is a little screwy on this page.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've managed to replace the pink boxes with my custom header by making a wpg2.css file.

I now just have to get rid of ONE of them!

Still fighting hard....

I worked out the permissions problem - although WP registered users are only recognized as guests in WPG2, unless I manually go in and giver permissions in WP users.

The width problem is still there.

And the pink boxes have thankfully gone, although I still have two headers and two footers.

Thanks for bringing this over.

Read a bit more - installed Firebug - Great program!

Fixed the overwide problem with a css width tweak.

And could edit html live to make the headers perfect, but can't find the code that generates the html.

I've removed a <div> header section from wpg2header.php and thought I'd got it but no dice.

Getting closer... still a real newb at this code stuff.

Thinking that a bit of ajaxian code is stuck in there somewhere.

Maybe I need to uninstall and redo, sticking to embedded theme this time, without testing any of the others.

Annoying, because in Firebug it looks perfect, although I lose the breadcrumb nav and search box. Can live with that.

Think I'm about there.

Tried all sorts....

Then - went to Gallery2 stand-alone, and deactivated every plugin except embedded.

TaDa!

Thanks for those that took a look
