Matrix Theme - different than before?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I'm seeing some odd behavior on the default Matrix theme and I was looking for some guidance.

I have been running Gallery 2.2.3 on a Windows Server using the Matrix theme and I recently retired the Windows Server in favor of a Linux server. After getting Gallery 2.2.3 up and running on the new server, I'm looking at the options for configuring the Matrix theme and I'm missing some options that I had before.

Previously there was an option for defining how you wanted the frame of each photo to appear. I could select severl differnt otions - I don't see this option at all. Is this an additional plug-in that I'm missing? Does anyone else have this option?

Yes it is the image frame module.
