Sadly, not even my host can fix my problems for me.

Here's the rundown. I do believe that I've installed the gallery and the bridge for joomla correctly. However, when I go into my components and try to edit myself as a user and make myself a site admin, I get a big no no. There was an error, but I don't remember what it was cause my host fixed that, but they didn't fix the initial problem, cause I still can't make myself site admin.

Onward!

I am having severe difficulties embedding this bad boy into my template. I think I actually got the link working but it's messed up on the page when it shows up. Also when you click on an album the link is wrong and I get a 404 missing page error. I noticed that when I went straight to my gallery without the link from joomla that the link is gallery/v/mypics... but when I click on the album links via joomla the link is home/v/mypics.

See the difference?

If anyone could help me out with this, I would be forever grateful to you!

Here's my website and the website to my gallery

Thanks in advance to all you wonderful people :)

Ah, the support forums are full of tales of woe relating to URL_rewrite in G2 colliding with SEF in Joomla. I'd disable both, so at least your site would be able to show everything, and then invest some time into more research.

dear all,
please note that on www.4theweb.nl there are two methods for putting SEF + URL rewrite at work.
