Validation Failing: I'm missing something obvious ...

Hi all, I'm new to WPG2, but it looks excellent so I want to give it a go. I'm not skilled in php, but I've mauled about with WP to get to know a little. I have upgraded WP to version 2.3.1 and that is working perfectly, except fgallery screwed up and it hasnt been updated for a long time, so i decided to see what else was out there. WPG2 seems to be the most popular and the featres list is excellent, so I downloaded it ... I copied the whole "wpg2" folder to my 'plugins' folder and enabled it within Word Press. The main menu option appeared as expected and i opened the validation page... It failed on half the items. I looked in to it a bit and it seems to be looking for embed.php in the directory i'd like it installing to. but there is no embed.php in the installation package. Chancing my luck I created a blank embed.php and placed it in the directory I want WPG2 installing in (/photos/). Calidation then reported the error: Fatal error: Class 'GalleryEmbed' not found in /home/archan00/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpg2/wpg2embed.inc on line 42 Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong? Did you install Gallery2?
The installation instructions (also in readme.txt) say
along with some other things that would be worth taking a look at. (Particularly making sure that you have the G2 ImageBlock and ImageFrame plugins installed and activated.)
Get Gallery2 up and running on its own, and then try validating WPG2 again. It should work fine. If not, let us know.

ROFL, i hadn't, I totally forgot ... thats what I get for sleeping halfway through a task.
