Picasa XML import into Gallery2 (bug?)

I recently discovered a problem while trying to import a picasa xml export into Gallery2. I don't see any references to it anywhere so here it is.

If the "caption" attached to the pictures in Picasa have an "&" in then, the import will terminate as soon as it hits that picture in the file. I discovered this by trial and error.

what specific version of Gallery 2 and Picasa are you using?

Sorry about that.

Gallery version = 2.2.4 core 1.2.0.6
PHP version = 4.4.0 apache
Webserver = Apache/1.3.33 (Win32) PHP/4.4.0
Database = mysql 4.1.14-nt, lock.system=database

Pisca Client software version 2.7
