ffmpeg users

hiii everyone
I was running ffmpeg on a red aht 9 machine as server and its client at fedora 6.
now when i'm trying to port ffmpeg server and client at Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS4, its not working
can any1 help me whats the reason. some configuration problem??
