Joomla 1.5 + Gallery 2.2.4

Hi people,
i have to create a new no-profit community on the Silkscreening (free tutorials, a forum, a gallery(!!) and a section where users can sell freely their creations without paying anything), so I'm looking informations about the integration between Joomla 1.5 and Gallery 2.2.4 (in embedded mode).

Is there an integration between these 2 tools? Where I can find more informations?

Until now which are the versions of Joomla and of Gallery 2 that work integrated with no problem? in other words that are supported?

Keep in mind that perhaps I'll have to add also the VirtueMart tool to create the section where users can sell their creations.

Oh, i don't be paid to do this job, it's pure passion ;)

There is a bridge for Gallery2 that works with Joomla 1.0.x, but not for 1.5 in legacy mode.

There is a Bridge for J! 1.5 since end of 2007
