Snippet for gathering a user-album's highlight?

Hello everyone, There have been a lot of people searching and submitting requests to display random images of a user's album inside of their profile on their Drupal account, or directly injecting a submission into their "User Picture" as their Drupal avatar. Believe me, the snippets and blocks provided are a leap above what has been done before; but what I don't get is why no-one published a way to retrieve the thumbnail of a user's album highlight. Why, with a simple change of the text, you could switch "Make Album Highlight", within a user's G2 account, to "Set Picture as Default Avatar", etc. I have done countless hours of trying to write my own snippet to no avail. It seems the API has some limits/restrictions as to what functions you can call upon. If someone would reply with some insight as to how / why this has not been implemented, I would be most grateful. I cant remember any issue asking for this kind of functionality! We were talking about a way to embed images from the user's "User Album" into the profile page in Drupal, but nobody asked for the avatar stuff AFAIR. I suggest that you simply create a feature request with a detailed description ...
