Gallery2 upgrade from CVS to the latest stable

Greetings

I would like to find some Gallery2 profesional hacker, since I want to upgrade my Gallery2 installation from CVS (2004-07-10) to the latest stable version.

Thought it is CVS version, my installation is a clean one, see: http://nepto.org/gallery2/
(except that spam in discussions, but I want to turn off discussions anyway)

I just want to upgrade & convert DB schema and make latest stable version code essentially work. Design & layout customization I will do myself.
