Highlight issues in 1.5.7

I'm having an issue with hightlighted thumbnails. I have nested albums (i.e. three levels deep) When I go from the main gallery to a sub-album and then choose one of the thumbs from the sub-album to be the hightlight I often get no image on the main gallery page... or the old hightlighted image is still being displayed.

I have gotten it to show the proper image when I edit the thumbnail and then choose it again as the hightight.

It's as if the main gallery page doesn't like the way a thumbnail is being created, but the sub albums seem to have no problem displaying it.

Hello,

let me try to rephrase what you would like to see.

You have:
Main Album "M"
Subalbum "S1"
Subalbum "S2"
Subalbum "S3"

You set now the highlight for "S1" and want that this highlight is used for "M"?

Is that correct?

Sorry for the confusion

I'll use completely hypothetical albums because I can't explain this well with the actual albums I have... nor with just letters and numbers

Let's say I have the following albums listed on the home page of my gallery:

Fish
Amphibians
Mammals

In fish I have:

North American
South American
African

In North American I have:

Pike
Perch
Salmon
Blue Gill

I currently have the Pike showing on my home page as the thumb for Fish
I want Salmon to be the new thumb on the home page.

I set Salmon as the highlight for North American and go up a level and see that the Salmon thumbnail is properly showing for the North American thumb. Then I make sure that North American is my highlight for the Fish level. I go back to the home page and now there is no thumb showing at all for Fish. And it says "no thumb"

The thumb is working for the Continent level but not the home page level.

I go back into North American reset to Pike and go back to the home page and Pike is showing like before. I go back, change to Salmon again, and nothing. Salmon is showing fine as the highlight at the Continent level but not on the home page level.

If I go to North American and choose "edit thumbnail" open and save the thumbnail... it then appears fine on the home page as the thumbnail for Fish.

AND/OR... I choose Blue Gill... as the highlight... go up one level to Continent.. Blue Gill is displaying correctly. Then I go to the home page... and Salmon is still showing.

Hi, I'm having the same problem with no highlight issue. I'm using 1.5.7.
Beside upgrading it to G2, Has anybody found the solution for this yet?
