Slimbox implementation

Hi all I'd like to ask if anyone has been able to integrate slimbox as an alternative to lightbox as I am having conflict issues with lightbox on my site. Other parts of my site uses slimbox and happily works, so I know slimbox is the answer but have no idea how to get it to use slimbox instead of lightbox.

Actually I forgot how to turn lightbox off - so if you can help me there too that will be a start.

Using G2.2 embedded in a Joomla 1.0.13 site
