Greetings! I am new to Gallery and my primary purpose for my Web Site will be for Video. The videos when uploaded may range from 640x480 to 1280 x 720 in both QuickTime .MOV and Microsoft formats. I have used Coppermine in the past and with large videos such as those I am able to resize them within the GUI. Can Gallery handle these? I saw these questions addressed somewhat in the FAQ but wanted to be certian. I want to move away from Coppermine (will not be migrating, but starting from scratch with Gallery). Any sample sites using Gallery 2.x would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Lyman |

Although the focus these days in on flashvideo, gallery can certainly handle .mov and .wmv but those formats are handled by the viewer's system default players for each format.
There is an experimental transcode module which lets you transcode your movies to flashvideo after upload.
Mysite has a many video samples, you can even join and give your own album a try upload, transcode ...
