Gallery w/ PHP5 Issues

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version: v1.5.5-pl1
Apache version: Linux vux45 2.6.22.10-NETSOL #1
PHP version: v4.4.7
Graphics Toolkit:
Operating system: OSX Tiger
Web browser/version (if applicable): FireFox/SeaMonkey

I've just received word from Network Solutions hosting services that support for PHP4 is ending and all PHP4 users will be migrated to PHP5 starting May 1st'08. Therefor I'm inquiring about any foreseen compatibility issues I might expect with the migration to PHP5. Does Gallery v1.5.5 work successfully with PHP5? I've searched the forum topic boards, and the issues I found where not really related to PHP5; or the issues were with the beta version of PHP5.

My assumption is that Gallery v1.5.5 should work file with this server upgrade. Yet I know it's always best to ask. If you have any questions regarding this issue, you may reply to NSI directly at:

Gallery 1.5.5 is indead ready for PHP5.
