Problems with albums

Hi everyone,

I'm new to G2 but not to Gallery; I just recently upgraded the latest version. I use it mainly to post pictures of my daughter for my family and to store/share other random pictures with my friends. My install went pretty smoothly and was up and running in no time.

I created the first album. First problem: Instead of having one thumbnail that when clicked opens to the rest of the pics that are supposed to be contained in it, all the images just show up.

I went to create a 2nd album and it was created as a sub-album of the main one. I've scoured the forum for answers, as well as checked the codex.gallery2.org site, but I cannot figure it out. It was MUCH easier to manipulate and move and relocate albums in earlier versions.

So, questions:

1- How do i make it so that ONE page shows the thumbnail pic for each album
2- How do i move the sub-album from the first one to make it NOT a sub album?!?
3- How do i DELETE/REMOVE an album...I can't believe I can't figure it out and I'm sure I'm not the only one but I haven't found the answers I need. So now i turn to you!

The top album is the main album and all other albums are sub-albums to that one.

1 - This should be the normal setup, just create sub-album in your main album and put the pictures into those albums.

2 - All albums are sub-albums (or sub-sub-albums etc) to the main album

3 - There is usually a popup under each picture/album (depends on your settings) and there you can delete the item
