Just display random image widget

Hi,

I have an online gallery running the latest g2 release. I also have a wp blog where I want to display a random image widget. This widget should pick up the image from my g2 site.

I tried out wpg2 and its integrating gallery into my wp, which I don't need.

What do I have to do in order to get *just* the random image widget? Clicking on the image should open a new window on the original gallery.

If you are running WPG2 3.06 then just answer the Q -> Should Gallery2 Page(s) look like a Wordpress Page? No and that will make the WPG2 Page look exactly like your Gallery2..

I guess you misunderstood. I *don't* want to display my entire gallery at /wpg2
I just want the random image widget to point to my original gallery installation.

WPG2 cannot support this due to a number of architectural reasons but you can use the Gallery2 ImageBlock Module to get the same result..
