Increment the amount of permited characters in the Keywords field

Hi, I'm a big fan of tagging and virtual albums. My problem is that I noticed Gallery2 has a limit amount of characters in the Keywords field, so usually the amount of Keywords I can add to a photo is limited.

My question is: ¿Is there a way to increment the permited amount of characters in the keyword field?
