classic theme hide subalbums

how can i make it so only the subalbums right under the current album show and not the subalbums under the subalbums under the subalbums, ect.

for example if i have the following setup:

A>B>C>D>E
if looking at the home page only B shows up as a subalbum then if you go to b only c shows up as a subalbum, ect.
