I have Checkout 0.3.5 installed and configured and Checkout by Authorize.Net 0.1.1 installed but can’t get it configured. No matter what I put in, "Path to cURL (the default usually works):" box it gives me the error message, “You must enter the path to a valid cURL executable.” "Authorize.Net is a third-party payment gateway. You must have a valid account in order to accept transactions, or a developer account to test transactions. You must have cURL installed on the command line. Check with your host if you are unsure." Is there a specific credit card processor that I can use to get this plugin to work? I have secure pay but it uses a different system of Authorize.net. Any help appreciated, Thanks. http://www.sublimeimages.net/gallery ***********SYS INFO***********************************************

Hi Thaddeus,
Checkout has been updated many times since the authorize.net plugin was written and unfortunately it's not compatible any more - it can't be used.
The only credit card processor you can use at the moment with checkout is paypal, although if anyone wants to write a plugin for any others, they will have my assistance where possible.

Has anyone corrected this yet? Hopefully someone has made Authorize.net work with Gallery 2, or at least something more than just PayPal.

Checkout now works with Paypal, and with Google Checkout and Nochex, allegedly ;-)
It's not going to work with Authorize.net until someone pays for me to get an Authorize.net account working. Or someone else writes the integration.

Thanks for the reply.
By the way, how much would you want to get Authorize.net working?

Thanks again for the reply. I can definitely understand that there's a lot involved. Thanks for pointing out Google Checkout and Nochex (which I don't see in the Plugin List) as alternatives to PayPal.

I didn't ever upload the checkoutnochex to the repository. There was so little interest, and it's never been properly tested. If you want to volunteer, that's fine with me!

Sounds like that might be a decent option. One deterrent from Google Checkout is that a buyer has to register with Google before purchasing. It looks like Nochex allows a simpler credit card purchase. I see that its in the UK though. Can it be used by companies in the US?

I don't think so; but you'd have to check with them.
