Can Gallery2 be administered thru Joomla 1.5?

Is there a way to manage Gallery2 directly through Joomla 1.5? By managing, I mean adding and editing albums and pictures without having to open another window and going directly to Gallery? I may be totally missing something. Thanks for any input.

Yes, you could administer Gallery if you have bridged Joomla and Gallery. I only know of the following bridge that works with Joomla 1.5. I have been using and it works but spotty instructions can make things a bit more challenging on install of the bridge.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the bridge and it does work. (It wasn't half as scary to install as I had read!) I was looking for a way to manage Gallery through the backend of Joomla and I've learned that's not possible. I've implemented another solution. I do have plans to use Gallery on another site that I'm building. This is a case where Gallery was not what I needed for this site but it's really a great product and I'm very pleased that I did try it because now I know what it's capable of.
